Senior Full-Stack Developer

Responsibilities

• Own features end-to-end — from database to UI — without a hard split between frontend and backend concerns.
• Make deliberate tradeoffs between server and client rendering, treating performance and accessibility as requirements, not polish.
• Write TypeScript that reflects how the business domain actually works — types should catch logic errors, not just syntax ones.
• Push back on requirements that are technically unsound and propose better alternatives — don't just implement tickets as written.
• Use AI coding tools as a genuine force multiplier, knowing when they accelerate good work and when they need catching.
• Keep the stack current — we stay close to the leading edge of the ecosystem and expect everyone to help drive that forward.

Requirements

• 5+ years of full stack experience with TypeScript as your primary language — frontend and backend.
• Production-grade React and Next.js skills, with a solid grasp of when to use server components, client components, and static generation rather than reaching for the same pattern every time.
• TypeScript in strict mode — comfortable with generics, discriminated unions, and designing types that make invalid states unrepresentable.
• Backend experience with Node.js, REST and/or GraphQL API design, and relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred).
• Practical AWS or GCP experience — deploying, scaling, and debugging real systems in the cloud, not just following tutorials.
• Comfortable writing tests at the right level of the stack — unit, integration, and end-to-end.
• Fluency with AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Cursor, or similar). We are building an AI-native engineering team — this is a baseline expectation, not a bonus.

Nice to Have

• Experience with AI/ML integrations — LLM APIs, vector search, or RAG pipelines.
• Familiarity with Effector or other React state management libraries.
• Background in a consulting or client-facing engineering environment.
• Open-source contributions or a public portfolio of shipped projects.
